Trainee Scientific Presentations for Medical/Dental Trainees at the Annual General Meeting
We are pleased to welcome trainee presentations at the scientific session on the second day of our annual general meeting in July. All medical and dental trainees, SHO, Trust grade and pre-CCT doctors can submit their abstract via the following online form or email jointsecretary@ndauk.org.uk if any questions.
All the Abstracts will be published in our yearly NDAUK Journal. The scientific sessions are applied for CPD Approval on yearly basis prior to the AGM dates.
The best presentation will be awarded BD Karki Memorial Award for best trainee presentation during the AGM Gala dinner on second day of AGM.

B.D. KARKI MEMORIAL AWARD
Dr Bhadra Dhoj Karki was a retired GP and a beloved founding member of the NDA who sadly passed away in February 2015. In memory of her late husband, Mrs Ratna Karki has sponsored this annual award for the best trainee presenter at the annual NDA AGM.

Application Guidelines
The B.D. Karki Memorial award will be awarded annually and prize consists of a medal and certificate.
All trainees are required to send their original abstract for publication in the NDA Journal.
The 3 best abstracts will be chosen by our judging panel, to present at the trainee presentation session.
The best trainee presentation on the day will be selected by the judging panel.
Only trainees attending for the full weekend AGM may participate in the competition.
The closing date for submission of abstracts is 30th May 2024. Abstracts submitted after this time may still be included in the journal but will not be considered for the award. Please email all submissions to jointsecretary@ndauk.org.uk
The term ‘trainees’ relates to any doctors at pre-CCT level.
